Tarsier Studios is now part of the expanding THQ Nordic / Koch series.
THQ Nordic and Koch Media's parent company Embracer Group has acquired Tarsier Studio The cash price of its IP is SEK 88 million (approximately USD 9.4 million), and the IP of B shares is SEK 11 million (approximately USD 1.2 million).
This Swedish studio is in charge of the horror adventure "Little Nightmare" and is currently working on the sequel "Little Nightmare 2." However, the ownership of the Little Nightmare IP still belongs to Bandai Namco.
Andreas Johnsson, head of the studio, said: "It is exciting to work with Embracer to continue to develop the potential of our studio after a 15-year journey with Tarsier.
"At Embracer, we are impressed with the position and team Tarsier has established over the past 15 years, which can be seen in the wonderful comments received from several well-known works in the studio and the studio's future ambitions," Embracer co-founder and chief Executive Officer Lars Wingefors.
Tarsier will continue development of Little Nightmares 2 in the near future and continue new projects after delivery.
