Between surprises, major updates, free content and crossovers with another major license, Ubisoft treats Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla says goodbye. After two years of tracking that resulted in the biggest post-launch content for any game in the franchise, the game’s latest DLC arrived a week early. A nice surprise for the fans, which others are keeping secret.
The big update of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is coming early
End of the journey for Eivor. After two years of loyal service, the Viking warrior is about to lay down his arms. The last major update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, originally scheduled for December 6th, is already available on all platforms. A deployment a week ago, but one that appears to be out of Ubisoft’s control. “ Due to an unforeseen event in the Animus, the latest content update arrived in Ravensthorpe early ” tweeted the official report of the game in Stride.
However, this is far from the only surprise the game has in store. Along with new quests, gear and more, the latest update includes links to the next installment in the saga: Assassin’s Creed Mirage. One of the new missions allows you to meet Roshan, Basim’s mentor, a character already present in the game, in order to discover in advance the temperament of this assassin who will play a major role in the next opus. Note that the Common History quest is free for all AC Valhalla players.
And that’s not all, a surprise collaboration has also been announced. Beginning December 6th, it will be possible to purchase a Destiny 2 character pack that includes multiple armor sets, swords, a scout skin, and a mount skin. Conversely, Destiny 2 players can get their hands on an Assassin’s Creed ship. Other crossovers could be announced soon, including one centered around Monster Hunter. Several Assassin’s Creed Valhalla files actually contain outfits and objects related to the Capcom license.
