The long-time tactical shooter Rainbow Six: Siege is entering its next round: From now on you can fall back on “High Caliber”. Here we tell you what new content the final season of the sixth year brings with it.
“High Caliber” marks the fourth and last season of the current Year 6 of the tactical shooter Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. This is now available on all supported platforms, i.e. PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PC and Stadia.
The focus of the new season is primarily on a new Irish operator, Thorn, but there is also a revision of Outback, new standard colors for the teams and a new Battle Pass including exotic weapon skins.
Thorn relies on Razorbloom grenades: These are throwable gadgets with a proximity alarm that explode within a short time after being triggered. Enemies in the area of effect will be damaged by the explosion. The new operator has medium speed and armor. For the primary weapons she can choose between the new UZK50Gi or the M870, for the secondary weapons 1911 TACOPS or C75-AUTO can be used.
The revision of Outback is primarily intended to improve balance and player comfort. The main building and the outdoor area were modified to allow the attackers more creative attack strategies. New destructible outer walls have also been added, and some areas have been refurnished and rearranged to provide improved lines of sight.
The aforementioned Battle Pass, for which you can also watch a fresh trailer below, again has 100 ranks and up to 131 rewards. The good piece is available until February 21st and can be approached as a free or premium version; The latter costs you 1200 R6 credits.
From December 2nd to December 6th, the tactical shooter can again be played for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. If you want to buy the full version, you can secure a discount of up to 70 percent.
