The Tomb Raider anime series that recently started on Netflix is now officially getting a sequel!
Tomb Raider is one of the most successful and long-standing game series in the video game business – and it has recently been turned into a series on Netflix. The animated series “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft” started there just a few weeks ago – and it turns out to be successful enough that it is now continuing.
The streaming giant officially confirmed via social media that “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft” will receive a second season. This is apparently expected for the coming year 2025. This is good news early on for fans of the franchise and also the Netflix series, after the series only premiered on October 10, 2024.

The anime series based on the video game series continues the story after the events in the game Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The first season had eight episodes, Season 2 is likely to be structured similarly. In addition, the previous cast of speakers will also return. Lara Croft will continue to be voiced by Hayley Atwell, Zip by Allen Maldonado and Jonah Maiava by Earl Baylon.
The script will be written by Tasha Huo, and Dmitri M. Johnson, Stephan Bugaj, Howard Bliss and Jacob Robinson will be executive producers.
The previously leaked Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy is now available for PS4 and Xbox One.
