The delayed Top Gun content for Microsoft Flight Simulator has finally found a new release date. What to take for Tom Cruise for a moment.
French development studio Asobo has finally announced a release date for the previously delayed Top Gun expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator. However, the free update is now needed come on 25.5
Tom Cruise’s plane in Flight Simulator
This Top Gun content for Flight Simulator was originally scheduled to be released with the next Top Gun: Maverick movie last November, but the movie itself was delayed by Paramount Pictures… So we can better understand the delay’s decision.
Note, however, that Asobo has not yet specified what Flight Simulator players will be able to find in terms of content more strictly. All we know is that we should be able to fly McDonnell Douglas’ F/A-18 Hornet Navy. The multirole aircraft thus replaces the F-14 Tomcat from the 1986 film.
How to see the stars
1950 km/h speed, 2000 km range, 15,000 m/min rate of climb. In short, enough to add a bit of clout to Microsoft’s simulation title. Note that this is far from the first Flight Simulator jet, as we can already fly the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor, among others.
Surprisingly (or not), the movie Top Gun: Maverick will also be released May 25, 2022. It is certain that the film will bring many people to the game to test the new content.
