The well-known strategy game series Total War gets an offshoot in the form of a trading card game with Elysium. There is now a new trailer with information about the beta.

With Total War: Elysium, the strategy series breaks new ground and enters the universe of trading card games.
Elysium is located in the city of the same name and shows a variety of outstanding generals in history, all of whom have a unique style of play – such as Napoleon's ranged tactics, Cao Cao's control-oriented methods and Lagertha's aggressive nature. They are accompanied by an armada of historically inspired battle cards from all eras, such as the wild Jian sword guard, devastating Mangonele, warships of the highest trireme and much more.
The game board offers dynamic battle line mechanics, the processing of middle game decks and the new daybreak mechanism should bring the feeling of the battlefield perfectly onto the CCG board. Elysium offers both single player and multiplayer modes.
ELYSIUM will already be available on mobile platforms in the first test phases this month, with a PC version to follow later this year. If you want to take part in future test opportunities, you can register for beta
