Deep Silver has announced that Saints Row The Third Remastered will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S next week.
“Street of Saints: Third Revised Edition” Will land on the game console on May 25th. It will also be available on Steam and GOG on May 22 this week.
On new consoles, you can expect the game to run at a higher performance setting, which is the same as the “High” setting under PC settings.
Visually, the game engine can now run at higher performance, which improves lighting, texture resolution and other visual effects.
The frame rate on the console has increased, which means you can expect the game to run at 60 frames per second in dynamic 4K.
Xbox Series S can play it in two modes: performance mode, which keeps the gameplay at 1080 resolution and locked at 60fps; or beauty mode, which locks the gameplay to standard 30fps, while using a higher 4K resolution.
PlayStation 5 owners will receive “activity” support, as well as the subtle “saint” purple glow on the DualSense controller.
Existing owners of Saints Row The Third Remastered will be released on PS4 and Xbox One on May 22. They own PS5 or Xbox Series X/S and will be able to get the next-generation update for free.
