news hardware Twitter: Jack Dorsey, the social network’s ex-CEO, is being sued by Elon Musk
New twist in the Twitter takeover affair. This time Elon Musk counters and wants to ask Jack Dorsey, the former CEO of Twitter, for help. An order that comes out of nowhere.
Jack Dorsey to save Elon Musk
The case is due to be heard in October and yet there are still twists and turns. Elon Musk just subpoenaed the former CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey to appear in court. The aim is to do whatever it takes to break the billionaire’s takeover deal signed last April. The audience risks revealing the downside of the social network.
Jack Dorsey and Elon Musk are close and like each other. In an April tweet, the ex-CEO of Twitter even explained that Elon Musk was the best choice to take over the social network : “Elon is the unique solution that I trust. I trust its mission to expand the light of consciousness.”
Basically, I don’t think anyone should own or operate Twitter. It wants to be a protocol-level public good, not a corporation. However, Elon is the only solution that I trust to solve the problem that it is a company. I trust its mission to expand the light of consciousness.

Jack Dorsey stepped down as CEO last November and appears determined to divulge some internal secrets. It is certain that he knows about certain things privately and that the two billionaires have spoken about these topics. That’s probably why Elon Musk is so sure.
Elon Musk is all fired up against Twitter
The American billionaire doesn’t give up and fights to the end. Before the October 17 hearing Elon Musk is already preparing the ground. Last week he subpoenaed Bruce Falck, the former chief financial officer, and Kayvon Beypour, the former consumer chief of Twitter.
If Tesla’s CEO is attributing so many formerly high-profile people, it’s because he’s heard information internally. Especially since he wanted to postpone the hearing to February, probably to collect as much evidence as possible that goes in his direction. Difficult to know who is telling the truth and who is telling the wrong thing in this case
By subpoenaing such important people in court, they swear to tell the truth. Apart from the fact that some truths cannot necessarily be publicly disseminated well. A fear that can make the social network back down.
Twitter still seems calm. In a document of 127 pages, the social network refutes Elon Musk’s theories one by one. He also specifies that there is no reason for the billionaire to back down and thus violate the agreement. According to Twitter, Elon Musk intended to withdraw from the agreement.
This case is also expensive for Twitter. The social network said they spent $33 million since the deal began in the previous quarter. Allegations Twitter will no doubt make to Elon Musk during the Oct. 17 hearing.
