Two new games are available for free as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Add-on Pack subscription. Here are the new titles to try.
The year is off to a great start for Nintendo Switch players. It won’t be one free game available this month as part of the Try Play program, but two. After allowing a large proportion of console owners to test a cult card game for free and in full, Big N is doing it again with a little surprise.
Two new free games via Nintendo Switch Online
The month ends on a high for some players. This Friday, January 27th, 2023, a new free Nintendo Switch game is available thanks to the Try a Game promotion. As the name suggests, you can discover a game every month or almost completely and without limitation. If lately the Japanese company has been honoring more confidential productions that need a little boost, last year saw big titles on offer, including Pokkén Tournament DX and Monster Hunter Rise. While the month is no longer available, here is a second showing the tip of the nose.
From January 27th to February 3rd, 2023, Snipperclips will be free to play. Be careful though, as usual there is only one condition to enjoy this free Nintendo Switch game: having an NSO subscription. In this family production, players must solve puzzles by cutting out shapes with the help of a colorful duo of characters. They are able to carve each other and change their shapes to overcome to solve puzzles of varying difficulty for young and old alike.
A cult game from the N64 also in the NSO
A title that was pretty well received when it was released in 2017, now is the time to check it out and make up your own mind. As an icing on the cake, those who have subscribed to the Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack can get a second free game as part of their subscription.
The long-awaited GoldenEye 007 is indeed now available in the N64 retro games list. A title that players have been waiting for for a long time and that is finally available. Note that Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also enjoy it.
