force shouting it from the rooftops, you’ll know by the end: Ubisoft is currently reviewing its global strategy to leave more room for new “economic models” that revolve around free-to-play or gaming services stay on the tough side. You still have to find people to play it, which obviously isn’t always won. The rifle reminds you of this during the day, for example, with a smile and a cigarette in your mouth.

Here is certainly a unique timing: two short days after the veil of a certain Tom Clancy’s XDefiant, free and multiplayer of its state, was officially lifted, The French glove announces that it will soon decouple its predecessor on the matter: Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad, Grave in battle.
The union does the … ah no
The mobile game launched in August 2020, free and multiplayer, seemed to meet all the criteria of the new strategy. It is with great sadness that we announce that we will no longer publish any new content for Elite Squad. This July 21st update will be our last and we will shutdown the servers on October 4th, 2021.
It wasn’t an easy decision, but after examining several options with our teams, we came to the conclusion that the title was no longer viable. We sincerely hope you enjoyed playing with us as much as we enjoyed developing the game and chatting with you all on social media and Discord. We hope some of you will stay with us and have a great time reaching level 70 to unlock all sorts of soldiers before you say goodbye.
Thanks everyone for playing.
While Elite Squad’s mechanics apparently have nothing to do with the Call of Duty-like style revealed this week, the speed at which Studio Owlient’s game leaves the stage reminds us of how difficult it can be to strike a balance big names in the industry.
