Last night the seventh edition of the gala was held PlayStation Talents destined to reward Spanish indie development and, although the bill for games is always quite humble, this year’s winner looks like an indie on steroids that even dazzled the very same Shuhei Yoshida.
Ugly, of Team UglyIt seems like a typical game with the potential to break it not only here, but also across the pond. A puzzle adventure with a spectacular visual display that, due to its mechanics, may end up reminding some of Braid.
The constant of the game seems to be play with dimensions of a mirror to control the character and his reflection, switching between them to access different areas or take advantage of the opposite plane to advance through the stage.
Its exquisite artistic section, with backgrounds created by hand in the traditional way and some designs cartoon style, is hands down the best banner for a title that has already garnered industry attention at other national awards.
Below you have in video the full gala of the PlayStation Talents in which you can also see the rest of the nominated and winning games with other surprises such as Ikai O Aurora’s Journey and the Pitiful Lackey.
