However, it seems that fans will have to wait a considerable time to enjoy the new adventures of Nathan Drake.
In an interview with Deadlinethe producer Charles Roven confirmed that production of the sequel has been delayed due to the busy schedule of Tom Holland, who will be busy during 2025 with projects such as the next installment of Spider-Man and a film directed by Christopher Nolan.
“First he'll have to finish Nolan's movie, which he's working on with Zendaya. After that, he'll start filming Spider-Man,” Roven explained. Despite the delays, the producer assured that the team is taking advantage of this interval to work on the script and develop a solid story for the sequel.
Tom Holland has established himself as one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood since his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His participation in multiple high-profile productions has prioritized projects such as Spider-Man compared to other franchises.
