As is well known, the successful horror game Until Dawn is also being made into a film – and now you can see the first teaser clip.
When Until Dawn was released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 in 2015, the horror game hit like a bomb and became a successful title. In October 2024, Sony brought the good piece back in the form of a new edition for PlayStation 5 and PC. In this context, it was also announced that Until Dawn would be made into a film – and now the first concrete impressions from the film from Sony Pictures can be seen.
In advance of the release of the first full trailer, Sony Pictures has now made a first teaser clip available that gives you an impression of the upcoming film. You can read this after reading this message.
Speaking about the film, writer and producer Gary Dauberman says: “As a big fan of Until Dawn and how cinematic it was, I've been thinking a lot about how we can continue the story without simply giving viewers the same experience that they did got while playing.”
Director David F. Sandberg adds that the film adaptation “certainly has the same tone and vibe” as the original game, but expands the well-known game universe. The more creative aspects of the game, in which players make different choices and can subsequently die in different ways, will also be taken up in the film.
