Riot Games, the makers of League of Legends, are now known to devote themselves to several new game projects. One of them is the tactical shooter Valorant – and you will be able to try it out for yourself shortly.

For example, Riot Games officially announced a closed beta of Valorant in a press release today. This should start shortly, namely on April 7, 2020. Selected players from Europe, Canada, Russia, Turkey and the United States can participate in this first beta phase. In the future, other regions should also be unlocked, but that – like so many things today – depends on the further course of the Covid 19 pandemic.
To grant access to this first closed beta, the developers are working with Twitch. The following steps must be followed to gain access to the beta:
- Create Riot Account (link)
- Link the Riot account to a Twitch account (link).
- As soon as the closed beta begins, you can start certain streams from Valorant watch featured on Twitch for the opportunity to get access.
