Riot Games is serious when it comes to making the upcoming shooter Valorant as safe and functional as possible. Anyone who finds exploits can even count on cash.

For years, Riot Games has not been afraid to reward games financially for eliminating bugs or exploits. In the case of Valorant, players can get up to $ 100,000 if they discover and report exploits in Vanguard's in-house anti-cheat system.
In a new anti-cheat policy, bug hunters can get $ 25,000 to $ 100,000 in six categories, with the maximum amount per category and certain requirements. Of course, the prerequisites include that the vulnerability in Vanguard must not already be documented elsewhere and that there is reproducible evidence. The amount depends, among other things, on the effect and application of an exploit.
Riot's bug bountry program has been running via HackerOne for around six years. Almost $ 2 million was paid out to resourceful players during the period. Since Riot's titles play a major role in e-sports and that should not be different at Valorant, the studio attaches great importance to intact and uncontrollable gameplay.
