Venom is a 2018 superhero film that follows journalist Eddie Brock, who aims to shed light on the immoral work of a laboratory that conducts experiments on humans. While Eddie enters the building in search of evidence, he is infected by a symbiote who gradually takes control of his body.
The Venom movie grossed no less than $ 865 million worldwide, suggesting a possible sequel. This has now been confirmed, and the character the onf spotted in the 1984 comic book The Amazing Spiderman is back in Venom: Let There Be Carnage, once again worn by Tom Hardy. This film stars Andy Serkis, who is known to have played the roles of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings or Caesar in the reboot of The Planet of the Apes. The big villain of the film will be Carnage, another symbiote played by Woody Harrelson, who is known for his roles in Zombieland, Hunger Games or True Detective Season 1.
On the way to the MCU
Venom: Let There Be Carnage hits theaters October 20th, and this sequel is sure to bring Venom one step closer to the MCU. The word “Avengers” appears in a leaf magazine and is no accident. As a bonus, it is possible to take a look at a Stan Lee cameo, as is the tradition of Marvel films. Despite his death, he appears in the film and you need to keep your eyes peeled for magazines.
