With the beta of iOS 18.4, the Apple intelligence functions have finally arrived in Germany. Among other things, you can now try the visual intelligence. This allows you to identify objects, animals, plants and texts with your camera and access them directly relevant information. We show you how you use the feature.
You first need the right iPhone, because Apple Intelligence only runs on the iPhone 15 Pro or newer models. There are three different options to access the visual intelligence: either you put the quick access to the action button, create a widget in the control center or place it on the lock screen. You can see how exactly this works in the following.
Beta testers become
In our test, the visual intelligence worked perfectly. If you want to test the function now, but have not yet been registered in the beta program, you will find instructions in the following section on how to become a beta tester yourself.
