Vodafone disruption: This is how you can claim your money back

Vodafone occasionally experiences outages. But you don’t have to accept this; you can request your money back under certain circumstances.

• If you are affected by a long-term Vodafone disruption, you should contact your provider immediately.
• There may be a claim for damages.
• However, you have to take action yourself to make a claim for damages.

If you are affected by a long-term disruption with Vodafone, we recommend contacting the network operator. Claim for damages

According to that Telecommunications Act (TKG) in accordance with Section 58 Paragraph 3 You are entitled to compensation if there is a complete failure of the services and it is not resolved within two calendar days of receipt of the fault report. In this regard, the legislature has stipulated that consumers are entitled to a flat-rate compensation amount of on the third and fourth days 5 dollars or 10 percent of the agreed monthly salary and from the fifth day 10 dollars or 20 percent of the agreed monthly salarywhichever is higher.

However, you have to take action yourself to get compensation, because the claim for compensation does not apply automatically. You must be able to prove that you experienced failures and that you actually suffered damage as a result. In this case, you should therefore contact your provider immediately so that the fault report is logged accordingly. You can report a fault with Vodafone online or by phone at 0800 172 1212 report.
