Start of sales
The price of Xpeng P7 is only a small part of Tesla Model S. This electric car is equipped with Nvidia, Bosch, Brembo and even Porsche technology, with a cruising range of 700 kilometers. Starting to sell now is probably the most exciting Chinese electric car.
Recently, Chinese manufacturer Xpeng has attracted a lot of attention. With the SUV G3, the company already owns another car in the series, according to which it sold more than 10,000 cars. The industry believes that Xpeng P7 will surpass this brand in a short time. Looking at the technical data of Xpeng P7 is enough to draw similar considerations.

Arguing with Tesla
Xpeng is especially thorny on Tesla. This has nothing to do with the appearance of Xpeng P7, it reminds many people of the hybrid of Tesla Model 3 and Model S, and it is related to the automatic driving function called Xpilot by the manufacturer. Tesla's allegation: A former employee stole the intellectual property, the source code of the autonomous driving function, and brought it into the development of P7.
In fact, Xpeng P7 provides the functions known for Autopilot [Level 3] and Tesla's Autopilot function. This also includes automatic parking.
Expertise in Porsche, Bosch, Brembo and Nvidia
Despite the low price, the manufacturer does not seem to save equipment. For example, there is a spacious glass panoramic roof, a chassis jointly developed by Porsche, and the braking system comes from Brembo, ABS and Bosch's braking energy recovery technology. The autopilot function is said to be very complicated. For example, the lane keeping assist system should be able to automatically operate electric vehicles even in very narrow corners.
Xpeng P7 is now available in China. It is unclear whether the car will be sold in Germany in the foreseeable future. SUV G3 has not officially entered Germany.
