By the Minister for Economic Development, The Russian government said earlier this week that companies in the country are no longer required to pay patent holders from countries that have sanctioned Russia in connection with the use of their intellectual property.
This will mitigate the impact of supply chain disruptions and shortages of goods and services due to new sanctions from Western countries.

This was reported by the newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta the introduction of new laws that provide that the use of said rights is henceforth possible without financial compensationwhen it comes to anti-Russian countries. The ministry has previously told reporters that it plans to lift intellectual property rules to counter sanctions and encourage Russian manufacturers to make certain types of products.
