Warframe has done it again, turning another mobility bug into a permanent feature

About a decade ago, Warframe players used weapons like the Tipedo to propel themselves through the air at ridiculous speeds. This completely changes the face of mobile gaming, allowing players to move through levels quickly. Digital Extremes has not eliminated this bug but made it a feature. Now, with Warframe 1999, a similar revolution seems to be happening again in mobile gaming.

This is all thanks to the Motorcycle, a summonable piece of equipment that allows players to hop aboard their own personal two-wheeled vehicle at will. This means it's only available in the new Warframe 1999 missions – a way to quickly traverse the massive city that was recently added to the game. However, players quickly learned that you could summon it in missions outside of the new content, allowing for vehicle speeds that were definitely not what was intended.

Announced in-game and on the official Warframe Reddit , it seems the team has decided to let nature take its course. Warframe Community Director Megan Everett provided some additional information on how to fix this to make the entire situation work. This includes the fact that this leniency does not apply to other traversal vehicles, that motorcycles cannot be used in Archwing missions (because bikes can't fly, duh), and that any game-breaking issues that arise from this decision will be addressed in due course .

Honestly, it was a great decision. When Warframe truly embraces bullet jumping, it adds a whole new dimension to the game, forcing players to master movement skills to really make the most of their time. It also allows for greater verticality. One wonders if boss fights like Rotaolyst would have been possible without this decision. Choosing to use a motorcycle for regular tasks opens up all kinds of interesting possibilities.
