Digital Extremes has finally released the first part of The New War. In Operation Scarlet Spear, you go to war against the Sentients together.

The free-to-play shooter Warframe really gets down to business. Oper ation Scarlet Spear has now started, at least for the PC version.
The operation is all about playing together against the Sentients. Via Mission-Link, players on the ground and in space can fulfill common tasks in the Railjacks that build on one another. For example, the team on the ground needs to get certain information that the space team uses to complete a mission. Meanwhile, the ground force must defend itself against an attack. As a reward, there are lots of blueprints, weapons, equipment and much more. You also help advance the overarching community goal of repelling the Sentient invasion.
Cooperative play is in the fore ground. You make plans in 40-person operation rooms, which you then complete with four-man teams in the form of coordinated operations on the ground and in rail jacks.
