After the huge success of Space Marine 2, the first series part now returns in a drilled form.
As part of the Warhammer Skull's event, the new Master Crafted Edition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine was announced. The first part, originally from 2011, will be brought up to date technically and will come on June 10, 2025 in the new version including 4K support for PC (Steam) and via Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series X/S.
Sega and sneakybox are responsible for the implementation, the latter implementing modern features such as 4K resolution, improved control, optimized models and better audio. Producer Vaida Mikelskas speaks more of a “careful restoration” than of a complete technical upgrade.
All original modes are playful on board, i.e. both the campaign as well as PVE mode and PvP multiplayer. Particular attention was paid to the orcs, the new models and over 100 new rows, which were given a special attention.
If you do not have a game pass subscription, the new version of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine can also buy separately. The price for this will be 39.99 dollars.
