With a great community, the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 video game is regularly updated to meet the demands of players who value precision. However, today we learn that the developers have decided to keep one of the elements of the game; In question, a bug that wreaks havoc during games!

Le Battle Royale Call of Duty

For people who don’t know what’s behind Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, a little explanation is in order. Available for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, this title is a “battle royale” twist on the shooter well-known among gamers. Alone or with others, the fighters are dropped on an island without equipment and the goal is to survive as long as possible until they reach the final location of the last survivor if possible. We must therefore recover weapons, ammunition and other equipment on the ground, being careful not to get eliminated while eliminating the other participants.

Solo or in a squad, Call of Duty Warzone isn’t lacking in adrenaline, especially as the combat zone shrinks. Compared to other games of the likes of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or Fortnite, the Activision title offers some innovations (like the “Gulag”, a kind of key location that allows eliminated players to return to the field) and, overall, it’s a great success. But when the games are bugged, it immediately becomes less fun…

A bug in the matrix of Call of Duty Warzone 2

Infinity Ward, the studio that developed Warzone 2, just announced on Twitter the deactivation of a map that was causing problems. This is the Massive Resurgence map that seems to have caused some discord among some players. The reason ? A zone problem. In a battle royale, the action takes place for a set amount of time and the combat zone shrinks over time.

In Call of Duty Warzone 2, this restriction is realized through different circles that appear on the map, forcing players to go to safe areas that, as I’m sure you’ve understood, are becoming increasingly restricted. The problem is that the Massive Resurgence map had a bug that caused the border to not restart from the last circle, but randomly across the map and often opposite the player’s last position. . Obviously it totally changed the rhythm of the games. While waiting for a fix, the developers preferred to shorten it by disabling the card. With Season 2 well underway, players should find Massive Resurgence (which wasn’t in Season 1 and was requested by players due to interest) very quickly.
