The new Battle Royale game Call of Duty: Warzone has had a great start: Over 6 million players have already immersed themselves in the new Verdansk war zone in the first 24 hours.
But not everything is perfect yet: A recent video released on Reddit shows a serious bug that, in theory, would even make it possible to win the game without actually participating.
This is how the nasty exploit works
As the video shows, the two players are in the battle royale-typical death zone: Whoever is here takes permanent damage – in warzone from toxic gases.
However, if you are not alone, you can survive indefinitely – your partner and you only have to Reviving each other non-stop. Since you have full life points after a resuscitation, there is enough time to pick up your teammate again.
Theoretically, this can be repeated indefinitely: While you are somewhere in the death zone and resuscitating each other, your opponents continue to fight each other and your placement increases with each fallen enemy. Victory could even be won in the video:

Bug was discovered by accident
The player MightyKonsti discovered the exploit by chance, according to his comment on Reddit, and published it so that the developers can take care of it quickly:
"As you can see we had no way to get out of the death zone and we started to resuscitate each other. Surprisingly it worked and we won the round. Please help us to make the developers aware of this !!! "
In any case, other users already provide possible solutions: Activision could reduce life after resuscitation or implement a system like Playerunknown's Battleground that ensures that you die faster after each resuscitation.
Officially, Call of Duty: Warzone is still in beta, so it is not surprising that there are still some bugs. We assume that Activision will react quickly here and will remove the exploit via hotfix soon.
