Call of Duty: Warzone is very popular – in the first 24 hours after its release alone, 6 million players plunged into the struggle for survival. But the Battle Royale mode also has its problems, especially of a technical nature.
Help is in sight for many of them in the form of the next major title update. In our preview of the patch notes, we list which bugs the developers will fix.
Kill Stealing Troubles
So far, if an enemy is killed in Warzone, the points reward will go to the player who gave the opponent the rest on the ground. In the future, however, the reward should be given who prevailed in the fight and sent his counterpart onto the boards in the first place – after all, it requires significantly more skill than shooting at a defenseless victim.
In the next title update (larger update) the person who downed will get the kill credit. The change just missed release.

According to the developer, the problem was already solved internally, but had not made it into the release build. Multiplayer chief developer Joe Cecot promises on Twitter: "In the next major update, the player who gets the opponent down will receive the kill reward."
The black mist of death
In some cases, Warzone players experienced as devastating as threatening graphics bug on: A pitch black surface ate through the map and ultimately envelops the player and his entire environment completely in the dark. For those affected, the game was forcibly ended. You can see how unsettling this is here:

Infinity Ward has now found a solution for the "black corruption" and will deliver a corresponding fix in the next update, as the developers' official Trello board reveals.
Misleading screens
If you are the last surviving player of your squad and dies, the game will incorrectly display a message that your teammates can resuscitate you. Of course, that's nonsense, because without a teammate, you can only save yourself through the Gulag.
If, on the other hand, colleagues are still active in the squad, they can of course buy you back into the game at a supply station with enough in-game currency collected. The developers will remove the faulty screen display in the next patch.

Stuck in the shop
In some cases, players get stuck in supply stations when interacting with them while lying down. This tactic is quite popular, because if you shop in the shop for a long time, you sit completely defenseless on the presentation plate.
That's why many Warzone players throw themselves on the ground to shop in peace. If you can no longer get off the spot, the round is over and the frustration is usually great. The developers at Infinity Ward have the error on their radar and are currently working on a solution.
It is hoped that a fix can be delivered with the next update. The nasty exploit in the death zone has now been closed with a hotfix, as Infinity Ward announces:
We're rolling out a playlist update across all platforms that fixes an exploit where players could counter the gas ring while in Battle Royale.
