An episode that begins the great battle that already promises to be more epic. Confrontations are inevitable and new twists have been quietly hinted at throughout the season. While waiting for the grand finale next Monday, HBO has broadcast a first preview of this final episode of the second season. Of course, the video and the following lines contain possible spoilers.

Tensions between black and green have reached their peak. It is not Rhaenyra’s (Emma D’Arcy) fault that she tried to avoid the now inevitable war. The bloody conflict that is tearing the two branches of House Targaryen apart seems to be resolved in only one way: fire and blood. The queen, usurped from her throne, finally found reinforcements after the arrival of the dragon rider Addam of Carene. For his part, Prince Regent Aemond has sent armies to drive his uncle out of the fortress, whose hallucinations are becoming increasingly distressing. The battle is brewing and episode 8 of the second season of House of the Dragon already promises to be full of twists and turns. Without giving too much away, HBO gives us a first glimpse.
Aemond prepares his response, Rhaenyra her troops, while Daemon prepares for the confrontation. All the main characters are at war and not everyone will escape unscathed.
