The world of Red Dead Redemption 2 is carefully crafted to mimic the real world.
From release to even years, details of Rockstar have been incorporated Red Dead Redemption 2 Continue to inspire and surprise us. Hunting is a major part of the experience, but it may be avoided in many cases.
To make these hunting feel right, Rockstar models animal behavior into AI games so that wild animals can run independently without any input from the player. The developers created 200 species of animals and spent a lot of time figuring out how they interact with the world and other species.
This can be clearly seen by observing the behavior of animals. A short side-by-side comparison of the Youtube channel Red Dead Online Guides shows prey next to animals in the real world and similar animals in Red Dead Redemption 2.
There are longer versions showing the rarest interactions with animals in the game, including confrontations with bears. Click on the link above to view.
