Samsung and LG introduced their transparent TVs at CES in Las Vegas this week and left mouths agape.
Nevertheless, C-Seed’s TV has sunk a bit. It can actually make itself invisible by folding itself up.
This is how the C Seed N1 works
When “closed,” the television looks like a bench because the modular display disappears into the base.
The screen folds up or down like an accordion. The television is available in inch sizes 103, 137 and 165.
One of the catches: Folding or unfolding takes almost a minute and a half.
The panel consists of micro LEDs. The modular concept was already presented with Samsung’s The Wall 2018 and is not new. C-Seed also promises no seam between the five individual screens. That gives us hope for a flawless picture.
The colleagues of CNET talk about a UHD resolution, 4,000 nits peak brightness, HDR and wide color gamut. The magazine estimates the prices as follows:
- 103 inches (2.62 meters): $110,000
- 137 inches (3.48 meters): $200,000
- 165 inches (4.19 meters): $300,000
- Outdoor-Variante: 240.000 US-Dollar

We have summarized the role that the environment plays when buying a television in a clear article. You should consider what is important for a large and inexpensive TV before making your next purchase.
At the CES 2024 in Las Vegas, the manufacturer C-Seed presented huge, foldable televisions for big wallets. Could you imagine having a device like this in your living room? Does the black wall of a switched off TV bother you at all? Or are you still old school and only listen to the radio? All joking aside: Feel free to write us about TV in the comments.
