Many simulation fans were looking forward to the release of Cities: Skylines 2 in October last year. However, the community was anything but satisfied with the state of the game – according to many critics, the game was released in an early access version, for which they had to pay the full price.

If the issues are not resolved in a reasonable amount of time, Colossal Order will consider releasing the editor with only code and map modding options.
However, when exactly the editor for Cities: Skylines 2 can be expected remains unknown.
