Welcome to episode 57 of The Best Game Show Ever: The Best Game Where You Play as a Dead Man.
The game is full of undead protagonists. vampire. Mischievous ghost. Murdered the detective who didn’t complete the mission. A starship captain is brought back from the dead by a rogue human supremacist terrorist group and a billionaire CEO. Such examples continue. Indeed, go ahead.
But what are the best games featuring the undead? Why isn’t anyone picking Grim Fandango? This week’s Best of Games Show only answers one of those questions, and it’s a bit short this week because the recording isn’t great and Jim’s on paternity leave so there’s no time to fix it. Still, at least the situation is framed by an ironic symmetry. You know, birth, death, stuff like that.
To find out who won and what, all you need to do is watch or listen to this episode. Fortunately, there are several ways to do this listed below. You lucky people.
