I don't know if you had noticed, but Australia would be ideal for a Pokémon Region and would have known Pokémon variants such as these versions of Oddish, Gloom and Vileplume. Obviously, it would not be so easy to determine everyone the new Pokémon that would be part of this Region, but it would be easy to assume that they would have to be varieties strange, unusual and quite dangerous, like the fauna and flora of this enormous country.
For example, you could make Pokémon designs that take into account most iconic animals who live on the Australian continent, like the kangaroo, the koala, the echidna, the emu or the known Tasmanian Devil. We know that the ecological variety in this territory is quite high, so it would be necessary to take into account extremely deadly animals
We can't forget about Australian flora to create Pokémon with a clear component of the Plant type or whose design is based on them, such as acacia

As we have already advanced, Australia is a place with many climates and many different terrains ranging from desert regions to tropical and coastal, making it an ideal place to give unleash the variety of Pokémon. It should be mentioned that, in addition, Australia also has world-famous monuments and sites and that they are an international reference, such as Opera House Sidney or his already known Uluru / Ayers Rock.
Many fans choose to turn Australia into a region full of dangers, but also full of possibilities, giving each territory a strong personality and that could perfectly become the different areas dependent on a Pokémon Gym and with routes that would make us plan our strategy very well, by having creatures that could mean a real threat in our adventure.
It would be a place quite interesting culturallyBecause there is a great difference between its most populated areas (generally on the coast) and the nuclei of the interior or of certain areas near the sea that they are almost uninhabited and full of nature, so it would be, perhaps, the ideal setting for a Open world pokemon in which we can explore a really vast and varied wild area.
