The developers of WhatsApp are trying to continually improve the messenger. Now a big change is coming to your status.
- A new feature has reached the WhatsApp beta.
- You can always keep contacts updated about your status.
It has long been known that WhatsApp is working to encourage interaction with status updates in Messenger. Now such a feature is available in the Android beta in version 2.24.9.23, reports the blog Wabetainfo.
WhatsApp is experimenting with a feature that allows users to name contacts by their status and thus always keep them up to date with updates. Direct reactions to these updates are also possible, which then appear collectively on the status page. This has the advantage that all these reactions can be seen on one page and you don’t have to search through different conversations.
These reactions are secured with end-to-end encryption, writes Wabetainfo – important information for everyone who values privacy.
The function is not yet available to everyone, it is currently only limited to the beta. It is not clear when it will finally appear via an update, but perhaps it will be in the next few weeks.
An eye-catching message about new terms of use may have already appeared on your WhatsApp. If you don’t agree to these, you have to accept the consequences.
