Geralt’s back, alright! Anyone who visits GameStar.de regularly knows that we never stop talking about The Witcher 3. The reason this time, however, is not a top list, on which the role-playing game once again gets a high ranking, but the big next-gen update!
The review embargo expired at 6 p.m. today. But where is our test of the PC version?
Why isn’t there a GameStar test yet?
We will of course thoroughly examine the PC version of The Witcher 3 with the NextGen update for you with our witcher senses in order to tell you about the innovations from both a playful and technical point of view. The review keys for the PC were originally supposed to arrive last week, but have been delayed until today. There was probably a technical problem with the PC version.
For this reason we simply couldn’t get our own picture of the PC version. Our colleagues from GamePro, on the other hand, have already played the NextGen update on the PS5. You can see how this works in her The Witcher 3 Xbox and PS5 tech check read.
How does it go from here?
We know that The Witcher 3 is an exciting topic for the GameStar community and of course we want to accompany the important next-gen update in the best possible way. This week I can therefore (probably) look forward to the following content:

We can’t say anything about the timing of the individual content as we’re still waiting for the keys. In the worst case, we won’t be able to start playing until December 14th, when the update is available for everyone to download.
