Where Winds Meet will be available in 2025 for PS5 and PC, and it’s preparing a test version that will be playable during a closed beta next month.
Where Winds Meet A Rising Star in the 2025 Lineup
Among the long list of big titles coming in 2025, Where Winds Meet—the dark fantasy game from Everstone Games—is shaping up to be one of the year’s surprises.
Set during the Ten Kingdoms period of medieval China, this open-world title follows in the footsteps of Ghost of Tsushimabut with stronger fantasy elements.
With a launch planned for PS5 and PC this year, Where Winds Meet will now offer players a chance to try the game early through a closed beta.
Closed Beta and Release Confirmed for PS5 and PC
Everstone Studio has announced that the closed beta will run from May 16 to May 19available on both PS5 and PC. The full release is also confirmed for later in 2025.
Players interested in joining can sign up now through the official form, but they’ll need to hurry—registration closes on May 15.
During the beta period, players from the United States, Canada, Japan, and South Korea will be able to dive into the RPG, with language support for English, Korean, and Japanese. Unfortunately, the European Union is not included.
Even though this is a work-in-progress build, participants will be allowed to share videos, screenshots, and livestreams freely without restrictions.
Beta Details and Technical Requirements
The beta begins May 16 at 12 PM (noon) and ends exactly three days later, on May 19 at 12 PM. This is a fixed-time testand the schedule cannot be changed.
Access is limited to the first device you log in onand platform switching won’t be allowed during the beta period.
Progress made in the beta will not carry over to the final game, but players will still get the chance to experience an early version ahead of the global launch.
In China, the PC version of the game has been available since last December, and mobile versions are coming soon.
For those interested in the PC versionthe system requirements have been revealed—ranging from a modest Gtx 750 ti up to a RTX 3080depending on your desired quality settings.
Laptop users will need at least a Ryzen 7 5800HS and an MX450 GPU. The game will take up 60 is 100 GBand using an SSD is recommended.
Access and Ambitions
Selected participants will be notified via email: PC players will be added to an access listwhile PS5 users will receive a code to redeem.
With its dynamic combat, free exploration, and a setting that blends fantasy with Chinese history, Where Winds Meet is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious action RPGs of the year.
