What is … Verdun? – Battlefield alternative for realism fans
Verdun is a hardcore shooter and takes place in the First World War. The game includes realistic weapons and uniforms and revolves around the infamous Battle of Verdun. Players from two factions compete against each other in trench warfare. The teams are again divided into groups of four who have to coordinate with each other in order to win in one of the four game modes. Among other things, there is a tug-of-war around front lines and a defense mode. But deathmatch is also included, which is good for practicing.
Especially players who want the most realistic gaming experience possible could find the right title in Verdun. In addition, now is perhaps the best chance to find enough players and full servers. On Steam, the average number of players remains in the low three-digit range (via Steamcharts.com).
