The Monster Hunter series has been a great success for Capcom – and that’s why Koei Tecmo and EA want a piece of the cake in the future. The two companies will therefore be officially presenting Wild Hearts shortly.

As promised, EA has now shown the first trailer for Wild Hearts and even announced a release date of February 17, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Origin, Steam and the Epic Game Store.
Incidentally, the focus of the whole monster hunt should be on crafting in order to increase your fighting power against the numerous monsters. Wild Hearts is set in the fantasy world of Azuma, inspired by feudal Japan, now ravaged by the once-peaceful Kemono, who are changing their environment at the cost of lives. Kemono species range from plant squirrels to giant wild boar “flora grunts”.
In the hunting game, you can either roam Azuma as a lone wolf or hunt together with up to two friends in a pack thanks to the game’s co-op and crossplay features across all platforms.

Earlier this month it was announced that Koei Tecmo and EA are working together on a competitor to Monster Hunter and want to give fans of this series an alternative in the future. This week, the title, which has since been dubbed Wild Hearts, will also be officially presented.

More clarity will now prevail tomorrow, Wednesday, September 28, because the reveal trailer for Wild Hearts will be released at 4:00 p.m. German time. The teaser image suggests in advance that it will go really strongly in the Monster Hunter direction.
“Prepare for an epic adventure set in a feudal Japan-inspired fantasy world,” the trailer description continues, which also sets the scene in stone. The teaser picture mentioned obviously shows a first monster that you will be dealing with there.
