It’s been a while since we’ve seen Wolverine on the big or small screen. His last appearance is from the film logan from 2017 and at the moment he is not mentioned in the MCU. At least…until now!

A nice wink in the MCU

It’s in the very latest Marvel series you Hulk that multiple viewers could see a specific mention of the character of Wolverine in the MCU. See instead:

In fact, when the Jennifer Walters character is viewing job listings on the MCU equivalent of LinkedIn, links to articles appear at the bottom of her computer’s screen. In particular these:

“A Man Fights in a Bar with Metal Claws”

The other article simply refers to the film The Immortals

with the presence of a giant statue in the ocean. As we explained in this news, mutants are officially introduced into the MCU via the Miss Marvel series. We can therefore hope for an upcoming appearance from members of the X-Men, especially since the film Deadpool 3 is in preparation and will be officially integrated into the MCU.

It remains to be seen which actor in the MCU will take the place of the unbeatable Hugh Jackman, who shaped the minds of an entire generation and made the character Wolverine as popular in the 2000s and 2010s as Professor Xavier appeared in Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness, anything is possible (or almost), even a (quick) return from Jackman.
