Windows 10 from Microsoft is the most widely used operating system in the world. Microsoft distributes a new version twice a year, which is provided with updates for 18 months. However, many users have an outdated version installed on their laptop or PC, as an evaluation by AdDuplex shows.

Around 40 percent of all users have installed the Windows 10 2004 version, the May 2020 update. Only about 17 percent use the latest October update on their computer. Shockingly, 6.6 percent are still using an update from spring 2019. Support for this version expired in December, and you will no longer receive any security updates.
