The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is ultra-modern and almost everyone is crammed with cyber implants. There is only one thing that will become less and less in over 50 years of future: hairdressers and plastic surgeons. At least in appearance, because anyone who is dissatisfied with his hair or his face in Night City has so far been looking down the tube.
The appearance of V cannot be changed after the character editor. A modification for the PC now provides a remedy and thus takes up a great wish of the community, which was also often mentioned in our survey:

Subsequent adjustment with Arasaka
The mod for Cyberpunk 2077 is relatively simple and also takes no direct changes to the game world in front. Instead, it is an application that reads your latest memory status. Then you can partially change the appearance of V.
You can currently change the hairstyle and a few facial attributes. The hair color and other body features are not yet part of the modification. The creator, who goes by the name of Admiral, is already working on a way to implement all of the character editor’s functions.
Think about backups: As soon as you are done with the changes, you can update your save status. Your progress in the game should not be affected. Nevertheless, the mod developer advises you to save your save files manually to be on the safe side so that you can fall back on the status quo in the event of errors.

Whether there will be an in-game possibility in Cyberpunk 2077 in the future that you can change your appearance afterwards is so far uncertain. However, it is conceivable that the developer CD Projekt Red will submit such a feature with the help of a patch or DLC. Even with The Witcher 3 there were a little later thanks to a free DLC significantly more hairstyles to choose from.
