Part of the program has already been announced in advance, now it’s time for confirmation. Sony has just announced the games that will be added to PS Plus Extra and Premium in July 2024.
It’s already been two years since the new PS Plus was conveniently installed. Sony has divided its service into three offers, with the last two being closer to the competition with a monthly catalog that is updated every mid-month. Unlike its competitor, there are few day-one releases, but the publisher relies on an eclectic selection. Whether you like action, role-playing, simulation or any other game genre, it’s hard not to find what you’re looking for. There’s something for everyone, honestly, and the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for July 2024 prove it once again.
All PlayStation Plus Extra games for July 2024
After the leaks, it’s time to make it official. A few hours before their announcement, part of the PS Plus Extra line-up for July 2024 was leaked. The headliner is therefore FF7 Crisis Core Reunion, the prequel halfway between the remaster and the remake. A title that is essential to understand the story of FF7 Rebirth and its sequel. Alongside it, there is Remnant 2, the looter shooter with souls-like mechanics. This future new addition to PlayStation Plus Extra will give you the opportunity to embody different character classes to explore dungeons alone or in cooperation, where tons of monstrosities await you.
As mentioned, there is something for everyone. Strategy enthusiasts can conquer the huge sandbox of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, while hack’n slash enthusiasts will have plenty to do with the arrival of No More Heroes in the catalog. Suffice it to say that PlayStation Plus Extra is giving us a nice month of July, with games that cover the genre quite broadly, but above all are very good overall, each in its own style. As always, PlayStation Plus Premium members can enjoy a handful of additional classics. No TimeSplitters on the horizon, contrary to what the Taiwanese classification board had suggested.
