On September 26, the Wrath of the Lich King expansion will launch a second time, but this time in World of Warcraft Classic. You have to keep an eye on these dates.
On August 30, Horde and Alliance champions can begin preparing to face the combined might of the Scourge in Northrend when the Wrath of the Lich King Classic preparation patch arrives. The pre-patch introduces new features and a wealth of events leading up to the September 26 release, heralding the beginning of the campaign against the Lich King and his armies.
It starts on August 30th with the preparatory patch. This goes live with the Wrath Classic systems, including character rework and balance changes to the achievement system, the Inscription profession, and landscape updates for Stormwind and Orgrimmar. With the death knight you can create and level up a character of the new class. Each additional death knight created is subject to the normal restrictions that only one death knight can be created per realm and that the realm must have at least one level 55 character.
