The fans of the long-time MMO World of WarCraft should have been romping around in the new Shadowlands expansion by now, but as is well known, nothing came of it. But now there is a new release date!
At the beginning of October, Blizzard Entertainment made the bad news public and officially postponed World of WarCraft: Shadowlands, which was originally scheduled for October 27.
A new release date was not mentioned at the time, but it was confirmed that the add-on should start in the current year 2020
Today the company announced the new release date for the add-on to the long-running PC MMO hit. Accordingly, World of WarCraft: Shadowlands will start on November 24, 2020.
The postponement was initially necessary in order to give the development team more time for the final touches in difficult. The feedback from the community from the beta test phase was also evaluated.

- The Scourge invaded Azeroth on November 11th: The Helm of Dominion has been destroyed, the skies over Icecrown have been torn apart, and a new invasion of the undead Scourge is brewing. Azeroth’s greatest heroes must put down this threat from the armies of the undead before it devours all life in Azeroth. This Shadowlands Preparatory Event begins on November 11th.
- The opening of the gates of Nathria Castle on December 9th: Nathria Castle, the first epic 10-player raid in Shadowlands, will be available on December 9th. With the opening of the raid, the first season for raids, mythical dungeons and PvP in Shadowlands will start.
