NACON and the developer studio KT Racing have announced their participation in the Steam Next Fest and have also come up with a nice goodie for rally fans on this occasion.
As soon as E3 is coming to an end in 2021, the Steam Next Fest will follow with numerous demos, primarily from indie developers. But some of the better-known studios also use the opportunity to present their new titles, including NACON and KT Racing. They are providing a free demo of the upcoming rally simulation WRC 10 on Steam from June 16-22. The demo provides an overview of three new Special Stages that have been added to this season’s calendar: Estonia (gravel), Croatia (asphalt) and Europe (asphalt).
In addition, the new edition of the rally game will include a new game mode, namely the historical events. This new Anniversary Mode of WRC 10 gives rally fans the opportunity to relive famous WRC moments from 1973 to the present day. Players can get behind the wheel of cars from each era and slip into the roles of some of the sport’s best drivers.
The Acropolis Rally in Greece was presented as the first representative of these events. The Acropolis Rally can be tackled at the wheel of a Renault Alpine A110, Lancia Delta HF 4WD or Lancia 037 – one of the exciting historical events of WRC 10. With winding, dusty mountain roads and dangerous cliffs, the Acropolis Rally is known for to be particularly demanding. In 2021 she will celebrate her big return to the championship after an eight-year absence. You can admire what it looks like in a first gameplay trailer:
