Nacon and development studio KT Racing today released the first gameplay video of WRC 9, the official driving video game for the FIA World Rally Championship. The companies have decided to preview the gameplay of WRC 9 taking a walk around the iconic New Zealand Rally, who will return this year to the championship after an absence of seven seasons. You can see the trailer under these lines.
New Zealand is one of three new rallies incorporated into WRC 9
KT Racing boasts in this trailer a trustworthy recreation of the route of the New Zealand Rally, a very symbolic and well-established circuit within the FIA World Rally Championship, which has earned it to host the first video of the gameplay of WRC 9. This scenario is one of the three new rallies this season, along with the Safari Rally in Kenya and the Japan Rally.
"New Zealand's roads are among the most beautiful and appreciated in Championship history," explains Benot Gomes, chief level designer at KT Racing. This path noted for its "spin chains and a sustained pace", although visually they do not fail to impress its beautiful landscapes. A long preparation work allowed us to recreate, as close as possible, the lush vegetation, the light and the unique views of the ocean, as well as the topography and road surfaces, mainly composed of gravel. We are convinced that players will enjoy taking on this challenge as much as we do at WRC 9
WRC 9 will go on sale next September 3 on PS4, Xbox One and PC through the Epic Games Store. Those responsible also point to a launch in Nintendo Switch
