If you just want consensus, Peel gave the game a 3/5, calling it “a good open-world FPS you can enjoy dozens of hours with friends,” but noting that it’s “compared to the highs it occupies Clearly Descent was developed by Dishonored and Deathloop,” and is “the first missable Arkane game of an era.”

It was fun to attend the May 8th service Weird West: Definitive Edition Compatible with Xbox Series X/S. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, and shame on you, it’s being developed by WolfEye Studios, a team made up of former Arkane Studios developers. It features a simulated sandbox world set in a dark fantasy of the Wild West. Here, law enforcement and gunmen alike share boundaries with fantastical creatures. As you experience the story of an unusual group of heroes, you will become a legend depending on the decisions you make.
In Weird West, each character has its own origin story, and you’ll move from character to character until they all come together in the final chapter. Every game is unique and tailored to your actions because everything matters, characters, factions, and even locations will react to the decisions you make during your adventure. You can even form a team or go it alone and play by your own rules based on your specific motivations.
Shadowrun Trilogy Comes to PC via Game Pass on May 9. Shadowrun Trilogy, already available on cloud and console, includes three tactical role-playing games set in a dystopian cyberpunk future. Here, magic reawakens to bring fantastical creatures to life. Originally created over 30 years ago as a tabletop role-playing game, the setting has gained a huge following over the past three decades and is one game you should really try.
The rounding of the updated list is Fuga: Melody of Steel 2 Suitable for cloud, game console, PC. Launching with Game Pass on Day One, May 11, is the sequel to Fuga: The Melodies of Steel story. The sequel finds this turn-based RPG with a richer combat system for more strategy, and a new event system that gives you more options to influence your experience.
