Ubisoft’s multiplayer shooter is still waiting for its release. In advance, details of the content for the period afterwards have now become public. Specifically, this is about the first seasons and a battle pass.
As is well known, Ubisoft also wants to bring a multiplayer shooter to the market with XDefiant, but that is still a long time coming. After various testing phases, the game still doesn’t have a specific release date, so we can’t tell you anything new, at least on this front.
However, things are different with the expected content that Ubisoft will serve you after the game starts. Accordingly, the timetable for at least four future seasons has already been drawn up, and the supposed topics have already been leaked.
The X-Users TxLimited has already become noticeable with XDefiant information and has now leaked images online that reveal the structure of the planned seasons. For copyright reasons, the images in question had to be removed from the social media service in the meantime, but this ultimately only gives the leak greater reliability in terms of authenticity.
Specifically, the four planned first seasons should revolve around the following topics:
- Season 1: Rainbow Six
- Season 2: Far Cry: New Dawn
- Season 3: Assassin’s Creed
- Season 4: Ghost Recon
In addition, a Battle Pass was also leaked for the start, i.e. Season 0; This graphic also had to be removed due to copyright X be removed. This first Battle Pass will include 50 levels and will cost around $10 in the premium version. The MDR, a popular assault rifle, should also be able to be unlocked as part of the Battle Pass. Camo challenges and more were also doing the rounds, so XDefiant seems to be comparable to Call of Duty’s business model.
Last but not least, a new, previously unknown map, “Waterfront,” was leaked, which will be based on Far Cry: New Dawn. Another new map is rumored to be centered around a ski resort.
TxLimited also names XDefiant’s supposed pricing models. Accordingly, the Founder’s Pack will be available in different versions, priced at $19.99 (Standard), $39.99 (Elite) and $69.99 (Ultimate).
An official confirmation remains to be seen. At the beginning of the year, executive producer Mark Rubin promised a substantial information update about the shooter, which – given the leaks – probably won’t take too long to arrive.
