- The Redmi Note 11 was delivered in spring with MIUI 13 but still based on Android 11.
- Now the update to Android 12 is available.
The Redmi Note 11 was delivered with the current Xiaomi user interface MIUI 13 in the spring, but the Android version 11, which was already outdated at the time, was still used underneath it. Now the manufacturer is submitting the long-awaited update to Android 12.
Like the fan blog XiaomiUI reported, the update is already being distributed globally. Initially, however, only so-called Mi Pilots will benefit from the almost 2.7 gigabyte update. If they no longer discover any significant bugs, the update will gradually reach all owners of a Redmi Note 11 over the next few days.
That changes with Android 12
With Android 12 you get, among other things, the new point display, which warns you if an app accesses the camera or microphone. The following video gives you an overview of the most important innovations of Android 12.
