The MMO Lost Ark is a Korean Diablo-style action role-playing game that will also be launched in Europe in autumn 2021. Of course, many GameStar readers listen carefully to “Diablo”: That is why we wanted to know from you almost two weeks ago which of the 14 hero classes you would start your adventure with.
It turned out that there is no clear winner. Rather, the field of participants is close together, and each class can win a few fans for itself. It remains to be seen whether the balance later convinces you to give every hero type a chance when playing. However, three options brought a bit of a head start. Here we present them to you in more detail.

Your three favorites have been determined
As things stand, most supporters have three classes behind them. Of the currently 1,165 votes cast, more than a third can only be attributed to the three panel representatives.
Platz 1: Summoner
As the name suggests, it conjures up Summoner the spirits of animals and mythical creatures to set them on the enemy. However, these are not permanent companions. The summoned comrades-in-arms disappear immediately after the fight.
The summoner can collect “Ancient Energy” as a resource. When he has accumulated enough of it, he calls up particularly powerful beasts on the battlefield. The phoenix, for example, throws the enemy back after dealing a lot of damage. The Summoner can’t take much and should therefore hold back when it comes to direct enemy contact.
2nd place: Shadowhunter
Shadowhunter belong to the basic class of assassins, but they are not really quiet in battle. Instead, they resort to the Chaos Power to defeat their enemies. A sword is also used as a supporting argument.
The Shadowhunter also saves energy, but in this case of demonic origin. If enough of it is available, he transforms into his demon form, which not only increases the attack speed, but also unlocks a completely separate set of skills.
3rd place: Paladin
A real classic, you might think. And in fact, there are hardly any surprises here for MMO experts. The Paladin fights with sword to distribute dents in the name of God, or book to work holy magic. The twist: you can only ever choose one of the two options, so you have to switch back and forth.
The paladin accumulates faith in order to activate two powerful buffs: Either you increase your own damage, or you give your group a knock-out bonus as long as they are in your vicinity.

The remaining places are hotly contested
Behind that, it remains exciting, because: The gaps are not great. Deathblade and Berserker are also very popular. Only between 7th place (Gunslinger) and 8th place (Sharpshooter) is there a notable gap, and things look even worse for Bard and Gunlancer.
The classes Deadeye, Wardancer and Scrapper are currently at the bottom of the list. What is noticeable here is that the two bottom lights belong to the basic class Martial, i.e. are looking for direct contact with the opponent. The third martial variant with Soulfist is in 6th place, but the fight in the middle of the action doesn’t seem to convince you so far.
Overall, expert Maurice remains skeptical about Lost Ark. Just possible Pay2Win worries him:

Your opinion on Lost Ark
So in the classes you have a clear idea of what you want to play. But what is your opinion on Lost Ark in general? Minds split here. While the hit feedback and the skill system are particularly praised, many of you, like Maurice, see the integrated shop very critically, as it currently still offers extensive opportunities to spend real money.
The operator Amazon, responsible for Europe, has already announced improvements in terms of the shop – especially to inspire Diablo fans in this country with the MMO. It is ultimately aimed at them in a playful way.
