Walking around Skyrim as a Mandalorian: What sounds like a very far-fetched crossover looks astonishingly well suited to Skyrim. The modder Araanim proves this with his modification Legends of Mandalore.
The mod adds a number of new elements from Star Wars: Mandalorian. The iconic Beskar metal armor comes in all imaginable shapes and colors.
There are also weapons like the dark sword – a kind of hybrid of light and blade sword – as well as crossbows and a mando-style flamethrower. The target-seeking chirping birds are also included in the mod.
It’s all in the Mando-Mod
The list of weapons and armor is long:
- Beskar weapons
- Light and heavy Beskar armor
- Painted variants
- Heavy crossbows
- One-handed crossbows
- Vambrace-Flammenwerfer
- Saber arrows
- Chirping birds
- Impulse stick
- Blaster sticks
- Energy shields
- The dark sword
- Capes
- Jetpacks (not functional)
- Four Mandalorian hideouts
Especially the mando hiding spots are important for the story of the mod.
On the trail of the Mandalorians
Instead of simply modding the Mando armor into your inventory, you have to puzzle a little before you can strut through Skyrim like Boba Fett. The items are namely bound to a questthat leads you on the trail of secret Mandalorian hiding places.
To start the missions, go to the House candlelight in wind helmet. There you will find the records of an adventurer who chased an ancient weapon. If you follow the clue, you will discover your first Mando shelter.
You can also get one on Nexusmods large picture gallery look at the many weapons and armor. It becomes clear with how much attention to detail the mod is worked out.
The modder has other plans and wants to expand the mod. For example, you should actually be able to fly with the jetpacks in the future!

This is how you install the mod
To install Legends of Mandalore, we recommend the Mod Manager Vortex by Nexusmods. Once the program is installed, simply click on the download button on the Mod page and gives the manager the necessary permission.
Then the manager starts his work and you only have to activate the mod in Vortex, after which all changes are automatically rolled out. The next time you start Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, the mod should be active.
Do you like the Mando-Mod or do you mind the fact that it just overrides the Skyrim-Lore? Feel free to write us your opinion in the comments!
